Reverse engineering is more than making a shape that looks similar. We separate identification, geometry reconstruction, requirements, manufacturability, validation, and release so evidence remains attached to the part throughout its lifecycle.

Evidence comes first

Photos, labels, measurements, reference geometry, CAD files, and known use conditions form the evidence set. We record uncertainty instead of silently filling missing dimensions.

Engineering separates geometry from requirements

A CAD model can reproduce geometry while still being wrong for the application. Material, load, temperature, tolerance, wear, mounting, finish, and failure mode are reviewed independently before a manufacturing recipe is trusted.

Validation creates reusable Part DNA

Released Part DNA links the approved revision, manufacturing recipe, validation job, QC evidence, compatibility assertions, and later manufacturing outcomes. Changes to the source revision or recipe invalidate stale trust instead of silently carrying it forward.
