Xahelo guide

How replacement-part manufacturing works at Xahelo

We separate the stages that are often collapsed into a single phrase like ‘3D print a replacement.’ That separation is what makes the resulting manufacturing record reusable and auditable.

01

Identify

Use manufacturer/model information, part numbers, photos, text, and existing catalog evidence to determine whether a trusted record already exists.

02

Understand

Record part function, damage, interfaces, use conditions, uncertainty, and critical requirements. AI can assist with observations, but unverified estimates remain estimates.

03

Engineer

Create or verify CAD, dimensions, tolerances, material requirements, and manufacturability findings. Blocking findings stay visible until resolved.

04

Define the manufacturing recipe

Tie the approved part revision to process, material, machine/process requirements, and the validation plan used to make it.

05

Validate and inspect

A manufacturing job and human QC evidence validate the recipe. Critical requirements need appropriate verification evidence rather than AI-estimated dimensions.

06

Release and learn

Released Part DNA can feed the trusted catalog, digital inventory, quoting, routing, later manufacturing outcomes, and the broader Xahelo knowledge graph.

This guide is general information. Actual manufacturability, fit, material, and risk decisions remain specific to the part and its application.
