Supplier standards

Capacity is useful only when the process is trustworthy.

We evaluate manufacturing sources by the requirements of the part—not by a single marketplace badge or the lowest displayed price.

What Xahelo evaluates

Process capability

Material/process match, achievable tolerances, finish capability, equipment, quantity range, and inspection support.

Evidence and traceability

Quote provenance, revision identity, manufacturing records, inspection evidence, shipment traceability, and issue history.

Delivery performance

Lead-time reliability, communication quality, shipping performance, rework/remake behavior, and capacity confidence.

Part-specific qualification

A provider can be acceptable for one process and unsuitable for another. Qualification is tied to the job and its risk.

No automatic certification

A supplier certificate is evidence. It does not automatically certify a Xahelo part, prove fit, or authorize catalog publication.

Human-by-exception controls

Automation can collect, rank, and route evidence. High-risk or ambiguous cases stop for review instead of guessing.

We can search broadly without lowering the bar.

Xahelo’s sourcing system is built to find better options while keeping engineering and quality authority separate from price discovery.
