IP & CAD Policy

Your rights and responsibilities when uploading product photos, CAD files, drawings, labels, or other technical evidence.

Version 2026-08-09.1Effective August 10, 2026 at 1:57 AM
Pre-launch legal draft

This policy is wired into Xahelo's consent system and reflects the current software workflow, but it has not been represented as attorney-approved legal advice. Final live-sales terms should be reviewed by qualified counsel.

1. Rights to submitted material

You represent that you own, control, or are otherwise authorized to submit the photos, CAD files, drawings, labels, measurements, part numbers, and other materials you provide and to request the work you ask Xahelo to perform.

2. Limited service license

You grant Xahelo and its service providers a limited license to store, analyze, transform, reproduce, transmit, inspect, and manufacture from submitted material only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and document the requested service.

Submitting material does not by itself transfer ownership of your pre-existing intellectual property to Xahelo.

3. Xahelo engineering and manufacturing know-how

Ownership or licensing of a commissioned CAD model, drawing, or engineering deliverable will be stated in the applicable quote or written project terms. Unless expressly transferred in writing, Xahelo retains its independent manufacturing methods, process know-how, software, templates, tooling concepts, and platform technology.

4. Catalog and reuse

Xahelo will not treat confidential customer CAD or private evidence as a public catalog asset merely because it was uploaded. Catalog publication and reuse must pass the platform's release, provenance, compatibility, and trust controls and must be legally permitted.
